Monaco International Film Festival - Part Two

Well - extremely happy to announce that Romain and I won TWO awards at the festival - best Historical but also the Independent Spirit Award - the awards were presented by the French actress Dominique Frot who was so made up by the script she's interested in acting in it! WOW!

More to follow - but at the moment - two very happy writers right now.

What a year it has been as Romain and I have worked on our script - well, happy to announce that we've just been nominated for a screenplay award - more news to come - but here's the poster.

The festival is at the end of the month - so will update as the weeks progress but wish us luck!

Monaco Film Fest

Well - three years in a row!!!!
Yes I won another screenplay award at Monaco in December - this time for my short film script Stella Maris...I've got some brilliant photos and memories - yes, I was a bit hungover when I got the award and gave quite a funny speech (well Abi Titmuss thought it was funny and tweeted about it!)...there was also a cool poster done for my film - when I can I'll upload

Well, I only went and did it again - Won "Best Action Screenplay" at the Monaco Int. Film Festival - this past weekend - well done to all the winners - I've got to get behind the camera in 2014 and get this one made :>)

Screenplay Nomination

Brilliant news - proud to announce that I'm up for another screenplay award at the Monaco International Film Festival in December - Roland Joffe is the President of the Jury - so looking forward to chewing the cud with him.  My screenplay is for a new short film called Splinter - an action story set in Paris (natch!).

Wow - Happy New Year everyone!

December was a busy month.

First up was my nomination for my short script "Bright Yellow Gun".  It won "Best Action Screenplay"....now all I need is the funds to get the damn thing made!!!!

And was really exciting is that a good friend of mine who had appeared in many of my early film / theatre productions, Ed Ward, was also there and won Best Supporting Actor!!!!!

Cool - just found out that me / my screenplay has been nominated for "Best Screenplay" at the Monaco Film Festival in December.  It's called "Bright Yellow Gun"!!!!
